FLORENCE DOUGLAS CENTER​
The Florence Douglas Center has many important roles in our senior community: To foster and promote programs and services for the charitable, educational, social, and recreational needs of persons 50 years of age and over; To be the community focal point for senior services and programs, to provide recreational, educational and social activities, and a nutrition program; To provide an extensive information and referral service, coordinating services with other agencies serving Solano County.​


FRIENDS OF LOMA VISTA FARMS
Loma Vista Farms is a 5-acre outdoor classroom that provides hands-on educational activities involving plants and animals for children of all ages and abilities. We seek to increase students’ knowledge of nature and nutrition while enhancing academic learning, Eco literacy and psychosocial development​
 
MARE ISLAND HISTORIC PARK FOUNDATION​
The mission of the Mare Island Historic Park foundation is to identify, preserve, interpret and promote the diverse history of the Vallejo Naval Shipyard.​

MIDSI SANCHEZ FOUNDATION
The Midsi Sanchez Foundation is passionate about being the voice of missing and abused children all of the world, and through public speaking engagements, giving hope and purpose to others. By putting herself in service and sharing her ordeal with families of missing and exploited children themselves, it has only been a healing process for Midsi, but also the survivors. No one is alone.​

REBUILDING TOGETHER SOLANO COUNTY
As a housing nonprofit organization, Rebuilding Together Solano County assists low-income homeowners with home rehabilitation projects - focusing on providing a healthy and safe home. Our focus is low-income seniors, disabled individuals and veterans. In addition to home rehabilitation, Rebuilding Together also assists community facilities with needed repairs. During a project, local businesses, community members and concerned residents come together from all walks of life to rehabilitate homes in Solano County. This is accomplished with volunteer skilled and unskilled labor, donated materials/services and financial support from within Solano County.​

SCI ACTIVE NETWORK
SCI Active Network is a positive network that connects spinal cord injury (SCI) survivors and their families through peer mentoring; and empowers an active lifestyle towards mobility, independence, and a higher quality of life.​

SCI offers a number of programs, including Peer Connections, Rolling Strong group, and Share-A-Chair. Peer Connections is our mentoring in Bay Area Rehabilitation Centers and hosting monthly support meetings in Berkeley and San Francisco. Rolling Strong group activities are ALL family-inclusive and include our Roll On Bowl On events in Bay Area cities throughout the year. Share-A-Chair program consists of us accepting donated lightweight manual wheelchairs. We inspect, refurbish, deliver, and fit the SCI survivors into the wheelchair to increase their mobility and independence.​

SOLANO COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION​
The mission of the Solano County Fair Association is to ensure a positive experience for the public by providing a year-round multi-purpose venue that showcases and celebrates the wide variety of resources and activities available to our diverse community. The Solano County Fair Association have been providing educational, cultural, artistic, commercial and recreational program to the residents of Solano County for more than 70 years.​

SOLUTIONS FOR AT-RISK YOUTH FIREFIGHTER YOUTH ACADEMY
The Firefighter Youth Academy is a youth development and mentoring program providing life guidance and career exploration to youth who are at risk of academic, social, and/or economic failure.​

VALLEJO COMMUNITY ARTS FOUNDATION
Vallejo Community Arts Foundation facilitates and advocates Vallejo community participation in the arts, including the promotion of the rich history of the Arts in Vallejo, the development of educational programs and support for Vallejo arts organizations, and the celebration of our unique cultural diversity through the expressions of art.​

VALLEJO COMMUNITY ACCESS TELEVISION (VCAT)​
Vallejo Community Access Television has been broad- casting in Vallejo since 2006. Our television programs are produced by students and by members of VCAT. Our productions cover a range of topics including local news, events, meetings, sporting events, children's art & theatre, and much more.


VALLEJO SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK

Vallejo Shakespeare in the Park is an annual play festival where residence of all ages and economic backgrounds are invited to come together for free professional outdoor theatre in Vallejo. Our aim is to provide an inspiring and educational live theatre experience for our audience through intensive preparation and high quality performances.​


Last year, the Weekend raised over $25,000 that was split between 11 local organizations. 


​The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend supports all non-profits, including 501(C)3 organizations located in Vallejo to be our 2019 beneficiaries. Requirements include active involvement in planning for the event, and providing volunteer assistance.
