2018 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend Seeks Beneficiaries

Showcasing Vallejo at its finest for the 5th consecutive year, the Vallejo Waterfront Weekend returns! Taking place over two days during the first weekend in October—October 6 & 7, 2018—this event is a collaboration of activities and events for the entire family.  With 4 successful years under our belt, we plan to make this the best year yet! 

Planning is well underway, and the 2018 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend is in search of new beneficiaries for the event. We are currently accepting proposals from local non-profits to be included as one of this year’s major beneficiaries. Last year, the Weekend raised over $25,000 split between 8 local organizations—California State University Maritime Academy’s Community Boating Safety Programs, Friends of Loma Vista Farms, Genesis House, Inc., Leadership Vallejo, McCune Art & Book Collection Foundation, Robby Poblete Foundation, Vallejo Community Arts Foundation Capital Stairs Mosaic Project, and Vallejo Shakespeare in the Park.

The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend supports all non-profits, but is looking specifically for 501 (C) 3 organizations to be our beneficiaries. To apply to be a 2018 Beneficiary, please apply by downloading the application below, or call (707) 738-6964 to request a Beneficiary Proposal Form.  Proposals are due by March 30, 2018.  Beneficiaries for this year’s event should be chosen by April 15, 2018. Fundraising opportunities are also possible for other non-profits to raise money for their organizations by conducting individual events at the festival.  Please inquire with any ideas or thoughts on creating a presence for your organization to become part of this exciting event.
