2021 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend Seeks Beneficiaries
Application due by July 15th
2021 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend is Back and Seeks Beneficiaries
The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend is excited to announce that we are back for the 2021 event and here to
help! Planning is officially underway for the 7th Annual Vallejo Waterfront Weekend! For this year only, we
will hold a one-day event on Saturday October 2nd , packed full of activities, entertainment, and community
resources to help get our City through this challenging time, and have a good time doing it!
We are currently accepting proposals from Vallejo non-profits to be included as one of this year’s major
beneficiaries. Our Board will only be selecting a minimal number of beneficiaries this year, as our community
is just returning to some normalcy, and we want to make an impact and truly help a few non-profits hit
hardest by the pandemic.
The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend supports all non-profits but is looking specifically for 501 (C) 3 organizations
located in Vallejo to be our 2021 beneficiaries. We are looking for non-profits that have struggled from the
COVID pandemic restrictions and may be experiencing challenges with their recovery. Requirements include
active involvement in planning for the event and providing volunteer assistance.
As a true community effort, our partners for this coming year will be keeping all of their individual event
profits in an effort to support more non-profits for this recovery event! Our confirmed 2021 partners include
the Boyz Under the Hood, GVRD, IAFF 1186 Local Fire Fighters, iRecreate, Rotary Club of Vallejo, Rotary Club
of Solano Sunset, Spinal Injury Network, SolTrans, Soroptomist International of Vallejo, Straits of Mare Island
Rowing Club, Vallejo Unified School District, Vallejo Yacht Club, and WETA.
