2020 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend Seeks Beneficiaries

Application due date extended

2020 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend Continues to Seek Beneficiaries to Help Our Community

The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend Board of Directors would like to announce that at this time, we are planning to move forward with the 2020 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend as originally scheduled on Friday and Saturday, October 3rd and 4th, 2020.  Part of this planning includes choosing beneficiaries for the 2020 event.

Due to the state of our community because of COVID-19, we will be changing the focus of our 2020 event beneficiaries.  The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend Executive Committee will be working with the City of Vallejo to target the current needs of our community, which have been hit the hardest by this pandemic.  We will continue to accept applications and have extended the deadline to May 1st, 2020.  Applications can be downloaded at www.VallejoWaterfrontWeekend.com.

The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend supports all non-profits, but this year we are only accepting applications from 501 (C) 3 organizations seeking financial assistance. Other requirements include active involvement in planning for the 2020 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend event, providing volunteer assistance during the actual event, and that your organization is in the City of Vallejo. This year, no more than 8 organizations will be chosen in order to make the best impact for all of our beneficiaries.

To apply to be a 2020 Beneficiary, please visit our website at www.VallejoWaterfrontWeekend.com, or call (707) 738-6964 to request a Beneficiary Proposal Form, due by May 1, 2020. Because the current situation is changing daily, we will be choosing our beneficiaries by the end of May 2020.

If you are interested in other opportunities for a non-profit to raise funding for their organization by conducting individual events at the festival, please contact us at (707) 738-6964 or email info@vallejowaterfrontweekend.com.
