The Genesis House, Inc is a non-profit organization founded in May 1972.  The initial formation of the organization was based on the idea of providing a re-entry program for other residential treatment program graduates.  By 1974 it became apparent that treatment services were needed, and the program obtained state certification to provide long term treatment.  This continues to be the program’s primary purpose today.  We provide ling-term residential treatment to men and women who require complete lifestyle and environment change.  Fees are based on client’s ability to pay.

Loma Vista Farms is a 5-acre outdoor classroom that provides hands-on educational activities involving plants and animals for children of all ages and abilities.  We seek to increase students’ knowledge of nature and nutrition while enhancing academic learning, Eco literacy and psychosocial development.

As a housing nonprofit organization, Rebuilding Together Solano County assists low-income homeowners with home rehabilitation projects - focusing on providing a healthy and safe home.  Our focus is low-income seniors, disabled individuals and veterans.  In addition to home rehabilitation, Rebuilding Together also assists community facilities with needed repairs.  During a project, local businesses, community members and concerned residents come together from all walks of life to rehabilitate homes in Solano County.  This is accomplished with volunteer skilled and unskilled labor, donated materials/services and financial support from within Solano County.
Rotary is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change. Rotary’s current focal project is Welcome to Vallejo signs that will be at all five major entrances into our fine city.  The signs will represent the new branding project just completed by Visit Vallejo/City of Vallejo and highlight the 26 Associations and Service Clubs that are in Vallejo.
